Virtual staging, one photo and about a minute per room

An empty room reads smaller than it is and sits longer on the market. Furnish it from the listing photo you already took — the walls, windows and proportions stay exactly where the viewing will find them.

  • Empty-room mode furnishes bare walls from scratch
  • One credit per staged image, credits never expire
  • No furniture hire, no scheduling, no minimum
  • Architecture preserved, so the photo still matches the viewing

Empty to staged. Same room, same light, same doorway.

How it works

Four steps per room

  1. 1

    Shoot the empty room

Wide, level, lights on. The same shot you'd put in the listing anyway — two walls in frame beats one.

  2. 2

    Choose empty-room mode

Roomagine furnishes from scratch and leaves the architecture alone, so the photo still matches the viewing.

  3. 3

Pick a style buyers read quickly

24 to choose from. Contemporary, Scandinavian and Modern tend to sell space rather than taste.

  4. 4

    Publish with a disclosure

Label the image as virtually staged in the caption and keep the unstaged original on file. It's a rule in most markets and good practice everywhere.

Where it earns its keep

Three situations

  • Vacant listings

Empty rooms photograph badly and read smaller than they are. Furnishing them gives buyers a sense of scale — where a bed goes, whether the sofa fits.

  • Pre-renovation properties

Show what a tired flat becomes after work, so buyers price the potential rather than the wallpaper.

  • Rentals and short-lets

Turn a bare unit into a furnished-looking listing for the ad, then use the same render as a shopping list when you actually furnish it.

Disclose the staging

Virtually staged images have to be labelled as such in most markets, and a buyer who discovers the furniture wasn't there is a complaint waiting to happen. Caption the photo, keep the unstaged original, and never alter anything structural — a render that moves a wall or invents a window stops being staging and starts being a misrepresentation.

Questions

Virtual staging, answered

What is virtual staging?

Furnishing a photograph of an empty property so buyers can read the space, instead of hiring and moving real furniture into it. Roomagine does it from your listing photos, in about a minute per room.

Do I have to disclose that a listing photo is virtually staged?

Yes — and you should regardless. Most MLS rules and advertising standards require staged or digitally altered images to be labelled as such. Caption the photo clearly and keep an unstaged version available. Roomagine doesn't watermark images, so the disclosure is on you.

How is this different from a staging service?

Price and turnaround, mostly. A staging service sends a designer and real furniture over days. This is a photo and a minute. For a vacant listing that needs to go live on Thursday, that difference is the whole point.

Can it stage an empty room?

That's exactly what the empty-room mode is for: we furnish bare walls from scratch while keeping the architecture — the windows, the doorways and the proportions stay put.

Can it remove the current owner's furniture?

Photograph the room and pick a style, and the furniture is restyled rather than kept. For a fully clean slate the empty-room mode gives the most predictable result, so it's worth photographing a room once it's cleared.

How much does it cost per listing?

One credit per staged image. Credit packs come in 10, 30, 100, 200, priced through the App Store and Google Play, and they never expire — useful when listings come in bursts.
